I'm a sophomore at SUNY Albany and I commute from Ravena, NY every day. Communications is my major and that's what I intended it to be since I was 12 years old. I'm a journalism minor and still exploring the subject, but I know I enjoy writing.

I work 2 jobs. One is on campus in the Office of Media Relations and the other is as a cashier at Kohl's Department Store.

I moved to Ravena in July 2007 from Chesterfield, Virginia. Sometimes I miss the comfort of knowing where everything is, but I wouldn't change what I have now if you paid me!

I live with my grandfather who is 81 years old, but you'd never know it by looking at him. Many people think he is about 60 or so. I have a cat named Cinnoman (spelled like that on purpose!) and I've had her since she was 6 weeks old. She's almost 11 now so we certainly grew up together. I think I have the greatest friends in the world, but unfortunately most of them live in Virginia along with my family. I have a sister who is 3 years younger than me and is finishing up at the high school I graduated from in 2007. I also have a boyfriend who means a lot to me.

With my bachelors degree in communications I plan on going into the field of public relations. I have been interested in this as long as I can remember and I am an incredibly determined person, so I'm confident I will achieve my goal.
